Leadership service · diagnostic workshop
A function level diagnostic that finds where AI creates value, before any technology is chosen.
The problem
Most AI conversations start with a technology and go looking for a use for it. This one starts with the department. It goes function by function, sits with the people who perform the work, and writes down what actually happens: the steps, the data, the systems, the manual effort, and who uses the output. Nobody is assessed. The work is.
How it works
The steps and the decisions inside the work.
What comes in, what goes out, and where it breaks down.
The systems and folders the work actually depends on.
Where the time goes, and where it is lost.
Who receives the work, and what they do with it.
The workshop
The three-hour workshop brings the people who do the work and the leaders who own the decisions into one structured diagnostic. Findings are classified as automate, augment, redesign, or retire, against the value they return: time back, accuracy, risk removed, or experience.
We use a disciplined prioritisation method to move beyond the obvious requests and surface the real operational gaps, workarounds, and institutional knowledge held by the people closest to the work. Every finding is placed on one register, scored by value and effort, and given a clear owner and decision date.
What you receive
One per function assessed. What the work actually is, written in the language of the people who do it.
Every finding, classified by intervention type and value driver, ready for prioritisation.
Scored on value and effort, with a named sponsor and a decision date against every item.
One page. What was found, what it is worth, and what leadership needs to decide.
What this is not
This is not a maturity assessment. This is not a readiness score. It identifies opportunity and assigns ownership of the decision. It does not constitute a recommendation to procure or deploy any specific technology.
